Food, Coffee & Wine
Spot Local is a specialty coffee café in the Algarve, serving specialty coffee and tea, breakfast, brunch, and cakes. The café is open to the public as well as to our overnight guests.
We work with a number of independent roasters in Portugal and southern Spain, serving up a rotating selection of wonderful coffees. Some of the roasters we work with include Koyo (Aljezur), Von and Vonnie (Porto), Ineffable (Sevilla), and Santa (Malaga).
Our teas are from the Companhia Portugueza do Cha in Lisbon.
The majority of the food we serve is cooked or baked by us. Occasionally, we come across a product that we love so much we want to share it with our guests. Apphia is the baker, Daniel is the cook.
On Fridays and Saturdays in the summer, our café is also open in the evening, serving wine, cocktails and small plates.
